Judge Adrian Cerbu from the Criuleni Court was interviewed by the Vetting Commission as a candidate for the position of member in the Board for the selection and evaluation of judges of the Superior Council of Magistracy. The hearing took place in the context of the assessment of the candidate's financial and ethical integrity, which was conducted under the provisions of Law 26/2022, rules subordinate to the law and other regulations.
During the hearing, the members of the Evaluation Commission asked the subject questions to clarify two aspects of integrity: inexplicable wealth for 2020 and non-reflection of bank accounts in declarations of assets and interests from 2012-2016.
The Vetting Commission will issue a reasoned decision on passing or failing the evaluation.
