The hearing of Vladislav Schibin, candidate for the Disciplinary Board and the Selection and Evaluation Board of Judges of the SCM

Judge Vladislav Schibin of the Balti Court was heard by the Vetting Commission as a candidate to the Disciplinary Board and the Selection and Evaluation Board of Judges of the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM). The hearing took place within the framework of evaluating the candidate's financial and ethical integrity, conducted in accordance with the provisions of Law 26/2022, its subordinate regulations, and other applicable rules.

The hearing primarily focused on financial integrity matters, specifically the discrepancies between income and expenditures during the periods of 2010 and 2013-2015, as well as potential violations of the regulatory framework concerning the declaration of wealth and personal interests.

The Vetting Commission will issue a reasoned decision on passing or failing the evaluation

📜The evaluation of candidates for the positions of members in the self-administration bodies of judges is carried out based on the following principles:

a) independence of the Evaluation Commission;

b) fairness of the evaluation procedure;

c) publicity of the acts issued in the evaluation process;

d) exceptional nature of the evaluation.
