Commission decision on simultaneous recusal requests for four members in an SCJ judge evaluation

On 14 April 2024, the Vetting Commission received requests for simultaneous recusal of international members Scott Bales, Lavly Perling and Maria Giuliana Civinini and national member Andrei Bivol concerning the evaluation of Supreme Court Justice judge Mariana Ursachi (formerly Pitic), a subject of evaluation under Law 65/2023.

Considering the nature of the recusal arguments, the Commission decided to publish the decisions rejecting the requests.
