The Judicial Vetting Commission informs that the resumed evaluation process of Svetlana Balmuș, a candidate for the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ), has been terminated following her request to withdraw from the competition.

Context

The SCJ candidate, Svetlana Balmuș, failed the initial evaluation conducted by the Vetting Commission. Following a review of the Commission's report, the Superior Council of the Magistracy decided to reject the report and order the re-evaluation procedure, considering the additional documents submitted by the candidate.

Currently, the Vetting Commission has no cases undergoing resumed evaluation.
