Judge Braga case referred for re-evaluation by the SCM

The Judicial Vetting Commission has taken note of the Superior Council of Magistracy’s (SCM) decision to resume the evaluation of Judge Angela Braga of the Central Court of Appeal, due to a pending criminal case.

This is the first re-evaluation under Law 252/2023 on the external assessment of judges and prosecutors. The Commission will proceed once SCM’s decision becomes final.
