Evaluation procedure for SCJ candidate Dumitru Mardari, ceased

Dumitru Mardari, candidate for the position of judge of the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ), has announced his withdrawal from the competition, notifying the Judicial Vetting Commission and the Superior Council of Magistracy.

Therefore, the Commission has ceased the evaluation procedure in respect of Dumitru Mardari, in accordance with Article 3 para. (1) let. b) of Law no. 65/2023, since he is no longer a candidate, thus no longer subject of the evaluation.
