Media notice regarding examination of a recusal

On January 17th, 2024, the Vetting Commission received a request for recusal of Commission member Andrei Bivol concerning the evaluation of Supreme Court Justice judge Mariana Ursachi (formerly Pitic), a subject of evaluation under Law 65/2023. Considering the nature of the recusal arguments, the Commission decided to publish the decision rejecting the request. The Commission's decision can be consulted HERE.
