A new candidate has been referred to the Vetting Commission for evaluation

The Ministry of Justice has requested the Vetting Commission to evaluate an additional candidate for the position of member of the Disciplinary Board of Judges within the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM). The candidate sent for evaluation is lawyer Feodosia Tîșcic. She has been admitted to represent civil society in the Disciplinary Board following a competition organized by the Ministry of Justice.

The Vetting Commission will assess the candidate's financial and ethical integrity. The evaluation will begin once she is notified about the initiation of the procedure.

The Disciplinary Board of the SCM is composed of 4 judges and 3 representatives from civil society. All candidates seeking to fill positions in the two Boards of the SCM, whether they are from the judiciary or civil society, shall undergo the external evaluation process conducted by the Judicial Vetting Commission.
