Notice regarding the conduct of a hearing after a previous postponement

The hearing of former judge Anatolie Minciună, candidate for the position of member of the Superior Council of Magistracy from among non-judges proposed by Parliament, will take place on Tuesday, June 18, starting at 15:00.

The hearing will be held via videoconference for the Commission members, who will connect online, while the candidate and those monitoring the process will be physically present in the room. Therefore, those interested in participating in the hearing should notify the Commission Vetting Secretariat in advance at press@vettingmd.eu. The hearing will take place at the premises of the Superior Council of Magistracy - Chișinău, 5 M. Eminescu Street.

We recall that initially, this hearing was scheduled for previous week but was postponed at the candidate's request. The hearing is conducted in the context of the external evaluation of the candidate's ethical and financial integrity according to Law 26/2022.
