The Judicial Vetting Commission has concluded the evaluation of Grigore Manoli, a candidate for the position of judge at the Supreme Court of Justice. According to the Commission, Judge Grigore Manoli at the Chisinau Court, has not passed the external evaluation. This finding is outlined in the evaluation report submitted to the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM) for review.
The SCM will examine the details of the evaluation based on the submitted materials and will issue a reasoned decision to either accept or reject the Commission's report. The report will be published on the Commission's website within 3 days of the SCM's decision, in accordance with Article 16 (5) of Law 65/2023 and the Rules of Organization and Functioning of the Commission.
Grigore Manoli was assessed by the Vetting Commission based on the financial and ethical integrity criteria set forth in Law 65/2022 on the external evaluation of judges and candidates for the position of judge of the Supreme Court of Justice.
