For the days of June 11th, 12th, and 13th, the Vetting Commission has invited to hearings twelve subjects under evaluation in terms of financial and ethical integrity as candidates for the position of judge at the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) or candidates to various positions in judicial self-administration bodies. Nine out of the twelve subjects have confirmed the receipt of the invitation and their attendance at the hearings. The others have not yet informed the Commission whether they will participate in the public hearing.
This round of hearings is expected to proceed according to the following schedule:
Tuesday, 11 June
9:00 - Ana ZABULICA, candidate for the Evaluation and Selection Board of Judges (evaluated under Law 26/2022)
9:30 - Stanislav GROSU, candidate for the Evaluation and Selection Board of Judges (evaluated under Law 26/2022)
10:00 – Vitalie PÎSLARIUC, candidate for the Evaluation and Selection Board of Judges (evaluated under Law 26/2022)
10:30 - Ruslan BERZOI, candidate for the position of SCJ judge (evaluated under Law 65/2023)
11:00 – Ludmila BOLOCAN, candidate for the position of SCJ judge (evaluated under Law 65/2023)
11:30 - Andrei CAZACICOV, candidate for the Disciplinary Board (evaluated under Law 26/2022)
14:00 - Mariana URSACHI (formerly PITIC), incumbent SCJ judge (evaluated under Law 65/2023) (subject to confirmation)

12:30 - Vladislav SCHIBIN, candidate for the Disciplinary Board and Evaluation and Selection Board of Judges (evaluated under Law 26/2022)
Individuals interested in the external evaluation process for judges are encouraged to take part in the hearings by notifying the Commission Secretariat in advance via email press@vettingmd.eu. The hearings will take place at the premises of Superior Council of Magistracy - Chișinău, 5 M. Eminescu Street.
Note: Third parties present in the interview room are prohibited from filming, live broadcasting, or taking photographs. The organizers will record the hearings through audio and video methods. Interested journalists will receive photographs from the hearings from the Commission's Secretariat.
