Vetting Commission hearing schedule for 12 - 14 March

On 12, 13 and 14 March the Vetting Commission will hold public hearings. The interviews are expected to be attended by three candidates for positions in the Board for the selection and evaluation of judges of the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM), one candidate for the position of member of the Disciplinary Board of the SCM and three candidates for the position of judge at the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ).

Tuesday, 12 March

9:30 Adrian Cerbu, candidate to the Board for the selection and evaluation of judges of SCM

11:00 Petru Păun, candidate to the Board for the selection and evaluation of judges of SCM

12:30 Mihaela Pascal, candidate to the Board for the selection and evaluation of judges of SCM

Wednesday, 13 March

9:30 Ion Buruiană, the Disciplinary Board of the SCM

12:00 Ludmila Ouș, candidate for the position of SCJ judge  

Thursday, 14 March

9:30 Rodica Chirtoacă, candidate for the position of SCJ judge

12:00 Alexandru Rotari, candidate for the position of SCJ judge

Journalists, representatives of civil society, and the general public are invited to participate in the hearings by notifying the Commission's Secretariat in advance at the email address press@vettingmd.eu. Notifications will specify the participant's name, surname, and the represented organization, as applicable. The hearings will take place at the Superior Council of Magistracy - Chișinău, M. Eminescu Street 5.

Note: Third parties present in the room where the interviews will take place will not be allowed to film, broadcast live, or take photographs. The hearings will be recorded by the organizers through audio and video means. Interested journalists will receive photos from the hearings from the Commission's Secretariat.
